Privacy Policy (BPM Player)

BPM Player (the "App") values user privacy and complies with privacy protection laws.

1. Personal Information Collected

The App provides services without requiring separate user registration. However, the following information may be collected for advertising provision and app functionality improvement:

  • Advertising ID, device information (model name, OS version, etc.), app usage records, log data

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

  • App functionality provision and service quality improvement
  • Personalized advertising provision (when using third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob)
  • Statistical analysis and error improvement

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

The App does not store personal information on separate servers. Advertising IDs and other information are managed independently by advertising networks (Google AdMob, etc.).

4. Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

The App does not provide users' personal information to external parties. However, non-identifying information such as advertising IDs may be provided to third parties such as Google AdMob for advertising service provision.

5. User Rights and Exercise Methods

Users can stop personal information collection and use at any time by deleting the app.

7. Others

This policy is effective from July 24, 2025. When the policy changes, users will be notified through app notifications or updates.

8. Google User Data Access

The App lets users import selected Google Drive files. It uses Google OAuth and requests only the drive.file scope.

  • The App accesses only files explicitly selected by the user and does not access the entire Drive.
  • The data is used solely to fetch the list of music files and is neither stored on our servers nor shared with third parties.

9. Least-Privilege Principle and Security

When accessing Google APIs, the App requests only the minimum permissions required for functionality and processes data only with user consent.

  • Any collected/used data is used temporarily within the App and is transmitted securely via encrypted connections (HTTPS).
  • Users can revoke the permissions granted to the App at any time via their Google Account security settings.

10. Not Subject to CASA Security Assessment

The App does not use restricted API scopes. It uses standard OAuth scopes such as drive.file, and therefore is not subject to Google’s CASA security assessment.

앱은 별도의 회원가입 없이 서비스를 제공합니다. 단, 광고 제공 및 앱 기능 개선을 위해 아래와 같은 정보가 수집될 수 있습니다.

  • 광고 ID, 기기 정보(모델명, OS 버전 등), 앱 사용 기록, 로그 데이터

사용자는 언제든지 앱을 삭제함으로써 개인정보 수집 및 이용을 중단할 수 있습니다.

8. Google 사용자 데이터 액세스

본 앱은 사용자가 선택한 Google Drive 파일을 불러오는 기능을 제공합니다. 이를 위해 Google OAuth 인증을 사용하며, drive.file 범위만 요청합니다.

  • 앱은 사용자가 명시적으로 선택한 파일에만 접근하며, 전체 드라이브에 대한 접근은 하지 않습니다.
  • 해당 데이터는 음악 파일 리스트를 불러오는 데만 사용되며, 서버에 저장되거나 제3자에게 제공되지 않습니다.

9. 최소 권한 원칙 및 보안

앱은 Google API 접근 시 기능 수행에 필요한 최소한의 권한만 요청하며, 사용자 동의 하에만 데이터를 처리합니다.

  • 수집·이용된 데이터는 앱 내에서만 일시적으로 사용되며, 전송 시 암호화(HTTPS)를 통해 보호됩니다.
  • 사용자는 Google 계정 보안 설정에서 언제든지 앱에 부여한 권한을 철회할 수 있습니다.

10. CASA 보안 심사 대상 아님

본 앱은 제한된(restricted) API 범위를 사용하지 않고 drive.file 등 일반 OAuth 스코프만 사용하므로, Google의 CASA 보안 심사 대상이 아닙니다.
