Paw Log - Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy (PawLog / Pawlog) Effective date: 2026-01-27

  1. Overview PawLog is a pet care logging app that helps families and caregivers record and share pet care activities (feeding, water intake, medication, potty, and notes). We collect only the data needed to provide the service and store it securely using Firebase services.

  2. What We Collect and Why Account information (Firebase Authentication: email, password, and optional display name): used to create and manage your account and enable secure sign‑in. Social login identifiers (Google/Apple): used for authentication when you choose those sign‑in methods. Pet care records you enter (food, water, medication, potty, memo, timestamps): used to show timelines, statistics, and summaries. Household/group data (group name, members, roles): used to share records among family members. Pet profile data (name, species, birth date, weight, goals, avatar image): used to personalize the app and calculate goals. App settings (notification schedules): used to send reminders.

  3. Data Storage and Security Data is stored in Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Storage) on secure servers. We take reasonable measures to protect data using Firebase security rules and platform safeguards. Access to household data is restricted to authenticated members of that household.

  4. Permissions and Purpose Photos: to select and upload pet images. Camera: to capture pet images. Notifications: to deliver care reminders you configure. Permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked in your device settings.

  5. External Services Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Storage are used to provide accounts and data synchronization. Google Sign‑In and Sign in with Apple are used for authentication if you choose those options.

  6. Data Sharing Your data is shared only with members of your household/group that you join or create. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

  7. Data Retention and Deletion Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account within the app. If you are the group owner, group data and stored images may also be deleted. Some residual data may remain in backups for a limited period as part of Firebase’s standard operations.

  8. Analytics We do not collect analytics or usage data at this time. If analytics is added in the future, it will be opt‑in and disclosed here.

  9. Children’s Privacy PawLog is a general‑audience app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

  10. International Transfers and Third Parties Data is stored and processed on Firebase servers, which may be located outside your country. We do not sell your data or provide it to third parties beyond the services listed above.

  11. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. The updated policy will be posted with a new effective date.

  2. 수집 항목 및 목적 계정 정보(Firebase Authentication: 이메일, 비밀번호, 표시명): 계정 생성 및 안전한 로그인 제공. 소셜 로그인 식별자(구글/애플): 사용자가 선택한 로그인 방식 제공. 사용자 입력 기록(식사, 물, 약, 배변, 메모, 시간): 타임라인/통계/요약 제공. 그룹 정보(그룹명, 멤버, 역할): 가족 구성원 간 기록 공유. 반려동물 프로필(이름, 종, 생년월일, 체중, 목표, 사진): 개인화 및 목표 계산. 앱 설정(알림 스케줄): 알림 제공.

  3. 저장 및 보안 데이터는 Firebase(Authentication, Firestore, Storage)에 저장됩니다. Firebase 보안 규칙 및 플랫폼 보안 기능을 통해 합리적인 보호 조치를 적용합니다. 그룹 데이터는 해당 그룹의 인증된 멤버에게만 접근이 허용됩니다.

  4. 기기 권한과 목적 사진: 반려동물 사진 선택 및 업로드. 카메라: 반려동물 사진 촬영. 알림: 사용자가 설정한 케어 알림 제공. 권한은 필요한 시점에만 요청되며, 기기 설정에서 언제든 철회할 수 있습니다.

  5. 외부 서비스 이용 고지 Firebase(Authentication, Firestore, Storage)로 계정 및 데이터 동기화를 제공합니다. Google Sign‑In / Sign in with Apple은 선택한 경우에만 로그인에 사용됩니다.

  6. 제3자 공유 데이터는 사용자가 속한 그룹/가족 구성원과만 공유됩니다. 당사는 광고 목적 등으로 개인정보를 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다.

  7. 보관 및 삭제 계정이 유지되는 동안 데이터가 보관됩니다. 앱 내 계정 삭제 기능을 통해 탈퇴할 수 있으며, 그룹 소유자의 경우 그룹 데이터와 이미지가 함께 삭제될 수 있습니다. Firebase 표준 백업 정책에 따라 일부 데이터가 제한 기간 잔존할 수 있습니다.

  8. 분석 현재 분석/사용 데이터는 수집하지 않습니다. 향후 분석 기능이 추가될 경우 사용자 동의(옵트인) 방식으로 운영되며 본 방침에 고지합니다.

  9. 아동의 개인정보 본 앱은 일반 이용자를 대상으로 하며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

  10. 국외 이전 및 제3자 데이터는 Firebase 서버에 저장되며, 일부 지역은 국외에 위치할 수 있습니다. 상기 외부 서비스 외에 제3자에게 데이터를 제공하지 않습니다.

  11. 방침 변경 서비스 또는 법령 변경에 따라 본 방침이 업데이트될 수 있습니다. 시행일을 갱신하여 공지합니다.
